CHESTER FILM SOCIETY eNEWSLETTER
2nd May 2009

A final mailshot this season to thank you for your support of Chester Film Society during the 2008-9 season.

Our last film, Grow Your Own, scored 7.82 making it your third favourite film of the season. Your highest rated film was The Kite Runner with 8.62, followed by Not Here To Be Loved with 7.96. Full details can be found by visiting www.chesterfilmfans.co.uk.

Many thanks for your feedback and comments on the films during the season. Chester Film Society belongs to you after all.

We'll soon begin the process of selecting films for the new season. Please contact us with any films you've seen which you think we'd like - we'll do our best to get them for you. Sometimes we can't book a film due to copyright or distribution rights. Even though a film may be on sale that does not mean it has rights for viewing to a non-theatrical audience.

Don't forget that Screen Deva is starting soon, lots of films and film related activities between 9th and 16th May. Screen Deva is Chester's very own film and digital media festival... including 18 feature length films, screened in the park and other unusual venues; a 48 hour mass participation film challenge; opportunities for budding young filmmakers to both create and showcase their work; a fun filled family day and digital media installations - all taking place throughout Chester city centre.
